The Final Stage
Ok ingame today, i was talking with a guy and our conversation led to something i have never heard of before. According to my new friend, after competing ever campaign there are 100-150 "quests". These new "quests" are called The Final Stage. He even described one of the quests as a fight against 40 ice imps, you wear no armor and cant use stances or enchantments. I recall at some point seeing a screenshot somewhere here on forums of something just like this which is why i think there might be a bit of truth. So now my question is, is this all bs? It sounds like it, but at the same time thinking of that screenshot makes me wonder... let the discussion/flaming/QQing begin!!

When you finally complete every campaign and quest with every single class in the game your account is given a "Master Quest" which gives you directions to meet various NPC's who have hidden dialogue about Guild Wars 2, then the quest tells you to re-do the entire game series down to every quest on every class again, this time, in Hard Mode. When completed you are granted a really special armor and weapon set in Guild Wars 2.
SIKE LOL @ friend |

After the last mission in Prophecies there are some subsidiary quests called The Titan Source
After the last mission in Nightfall, there is a quest to get the hero Razah and another to enter the Domain of Anguish Those are all the "after completion" quests of which I know. Your "friend" was pulling your leg. There is no quest anywhere in the game where you are required to remove your armor. |

If something like this really existed, you could probably have typed "The Final Stage" into an official wiki search and seen what it really consisted of. If you weren't sure, you could still type it in and find that no such thing exists.

the screenshot of someone without armor fighting ice imps is likely from the old spirit bond farming build where having less armor rating allowed the build to work better
i used to go shirtless with my ele for that build |

I'd say this was just a whole chain of mixups.
Titan quests being the end of the storyline, after the last mission. Taking place in areas where you get henchmen of lvl 10 or worse, you'd see yourself as practically fighting alone, with the henchman armor being so low they're practically naked and so on. Plus, there are indeed hundreds of quests that people rarely do along with the storyline. |
